Hill's offers a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee for quality, consistency and taste for all of their products. If you or your pet are not completely satisfied with the quality, consistency or taste of any Hill’s diet, you can get your money back.

The 100% Satisfaction Guarantee applies to all Hill's brands - Science Plan and Prescription Diet.

How does It work?

If you would like to start a Hill's 100% Money Back Guarantee claim, a bag of food that is more than half full in the original packaging can be returned to the place of purchase. If the bag you would like to return meets all the necessary criteria then you can either claim your money back or receive a replacement bag.

What claims will be accepted?

  • if the pet refuses to eat Hill's food.
  • if there is visibly something wrong with the food or packaging that was not caused by incorrect storage after opening.
  • in the unlikely event that a pet parent believes that the food has caused harm to their pet.

What claims will not be accepted?

  • almost all the food has been used.
  • the wrong food was purchased and the bag opened.
  • the food has expired
  • the bag or food has been damaged after purchase.

What happens after I claim?

After a claim has been verified you can either receive your money back to the same value as what was paid on the original receipt or a replacement bag can be claimed.
